Becki Newton

Becki was born at Guilford, Connecticut. In her teens she began performing in local productions, including performances for the summer season and in community theater. Then she spent a number of semesters studying European History in the University of Pennsylvania. Becki relocated to NYC immediately after graduation to pursue Broadway. Alongside a variety of guest starring roles and commercials across the country, including Cold Case (2003) Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2000) and American Dreams (2002) she landed Amanda in Ugly Betty 2006. The actress is married to actress Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. The most beautiful women I've met are not always models of the highest caliber. I'm fortunate to give it up to professionals on the job and for red-carpet functions and red-carpet events, as I don't think I'm skilled. But, I'm willing to try new things in the realm of beauty. The glamour can be enjoyable! The point is not to be a fussy person however, it's about taking care of your self. There's no harm in having a few moments of fancies.
